USB Vault ("the App") is a photo and video backup utility developed by Filotimo Creations Ltd in the UK. The App backs up media files from your device to USB drives. It operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
The App does not collect any personal information. It does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or any form of tracking. The App does not require or use internet access for its core functionality.
The App stores backup metadata and preferences locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences and a Room database. This includes sync maps that track which photos and videos have been backed up and their corresponding filenames on the USB drive. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
The App reads photos and videos from your device and writes them to USB drives that you explicitly select. No data is sent to any server or third party.
The App uses Google Play's billing system for subscription management. All payment and transaction data is handled entirely by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. The App does not access, store, or process any payment information.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age.
Since the App does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no user data to delete. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored preferences and metadata. Backup files on USB drives can be deleted manually by the user.
